In the present stage of the research project, the two objectives and their corresponding activities have been accomplished as described below:

 

1. Synthesis and characterization of iron-immobilized AC composites (Related activities were conducted during 2015 and 2016 stages)

1.1. Wet impregnation of Fe on ACs

 

2. Selection of the most appropriate iron-immobilized AC for optimizing of the coupling treatment system (Related activities were conducted during 2015 and 2016 stages)

2.1. Preliminary studies on the adsorption properties of raw and Fenton ACs in terms of MPs removal, leakage of impregnated Fe, material attrition
